| Re: budget stalking rod I have a 12ft Ron Thompson Warlord that does the job for me on many levels including stalkin...I've had double figure carp and pike on it in the past and at about 5 years old, it's still goin strong and for only £40. It comes as a two piece with one straight through Avon section and a seperate quiver section with 3 interchangable tips so you effectively got 2 rods for the price of one...a feeder/leger rod and a sturdy avon rod for stalkin or all round work on rivers or stillwaters. |
