Re: Carp at the old spot cheltenham

I actually fished there Tuesday for the first time (haven't used a pole for 15 yrs so wanted somewhere easy) and although it's a very small lake and water levels where very low had some nice fish (mainly skimmers). After talking to some of the regulars they say biggest is about 27lb???? when walking around lake i found a big shoal of fish in 1 corner of lake (didn't look good with water being so low) but there was carp to about 20lb (looks can be deceiving though) I probably will not fish there again as i had to bite my lip when some lad was dragging fish out without actually playing them and had no unhooking mat, then took the fish to show nearly everyone on lake by all acounts this is common practise down there
