Carp care kits.

I am going to a new lake on Wednesday and one of the requirments is that you must have a carp care kit.

I have been looking around and they seem to be about £15.00 plus postage on the internet.

as i am short of time, can i use something else. antiseptic gel, cotton buds etc....

your thoughts would be welcome

Re: Carp care kits.

Any Decent Tackle Shop Should Carry Some Kind Of Carp Care Kit, Either Korda Or Kryston. But I Know Anglers That Use Bonjela And Cotton Buds.

Re: Carp care kits.

you just need a bottle of kryston (about £6) and some cotton buds, mate the korda one is a bit more expensive cos it comes in a bag. i personally dont think it should be used unless absolutely necessary as antiseptic surely cant be helpful to the fish's natural membrane. but if those are the rules then those are the rules.
