| mad english carpers.... I was sat carping on my local 15 acre mere(completley alone) i have 4 to choose from within a 20 mile radius and my mind raced back to the days in england when i fished lakes with more bivvies than i could count or on my local club waters (lymm anglers) where you had to almost form a que to fish, and now i live in zeeuws vlanderen the netherlands and dont see anyone for days just wonderd how do you guys cope with it..i know its not the same on every lake but dont you find the local carp lakes are over fished? correct me if i am wrong ,. My local waters are crammed full with big carp up tp 24 kilo and if i travel a little bit further 25 miles i can get a day ticket for a water for 5 euro which has a carp record of 28 kilos, i am not writing this to gloat but its carp heaven here in holland i am not saying the fish are easier to catch far from it you still have to work your knackers off to catch the big guys but you can do it in peace,. come on guys book your summer holidays in holland its a dream come true for carpers who fish over fished waters or have to pay for pricey syndicate waters...just a though!! happy carping where ever you are.. |
