Sandwich Fisheries anyone?

I have just returned from my first visit to Sandwich fisheries and to be honest this is only the first time I have concentrated on fishing for carp. I hooked in to a nice carp but it came off after a 10 minute fight. From what I saw I was one of the few to actually hook in to a carp which was some consultation.

I was fishing Victory lake and was wondering if anyone fishes there on a regular basis and could give me some advice regarding the swims, catching and what rigs or baits are best for that lake.
