Rod/reel advice

I am looking to buy a new carp rod and big pit reel any suggestions or recommendation on combinations would be very much appreciated!

Wychwood or Okuma reels seem to have good reputations. I have got the TFG Banshee carp rods and I like them.

Ok brilliant will have a look at them, had a quick look at the rods and get them for £60 buy one get one free Wich seems really good value!

hi mate.... try the daiwa emcast advanced 5 500 . not the top of the range but really good reels . match them up with some chub outcasts 3 Ib test curve . you wont be sorry .

Hi are the emcast advanced still available or they been replaced with the 5500 airmail? It's just I'm unable to find anywhere selling the emcast advanced 5500?

the ones you are talking about are the 5500airball .....they are the emcast and the ones you want . so much stuff on the market nowdays its hard to keep track of everything new . anyway, good luck ......let me know what set up you end up with .
