Re: bait options???? With restrictions like this I would try either Hallubut Pellet, or Luncheon Meat ( when using the luncheon Meat I have been know to use lumps as big as a 6th of a full can. means u only get 6 casts but stops the little carp from stealing it as much) both have worked for me in the past for carp. Or if possible take a drive to the lake today and have a chat with some poeple who are already fishing it, they will give you good advise on what the fish are coming out on. ( I know this is not always possible, but can be very helpful ) Hope this helps.

Re: bait options???? I would say sweetcorn if the carp are feeding off the bottom and bread if they are feeding off the top. Luncheon meat is a good call too. These are cheap enough to take all three and see how it goes.

been out to the lake and had a good long gas with the locals. opted for sweetcorn bed with maize on the hook on one rod, and halibut or crab pellet over mixed bed of pellet on the other rod. fingers crossed. |

Re: bait options???? Then worms are out... The carp won't be able to get to them! __________________ 2012 species: 13 All-time species: 65 New species caught in 2012: white sucker, popeye shiner, white shiner

Re: bait options???? think i would try a nice sized piece of luncheon meat, possibly held on with a fake sweetcorn.
