Carp on bread. Underwater video's

Hi,

The bread video's are now complete and are available online here:

http://www.underwatersecrets.co.uk

Thanks to all the forum members for thier suggestions. I could not try every one of them as for a working man like myself time is a probem.
the bread video's are on Page1, Page5 and Page6.

What stands out from my month of video study is how readily the fish take to bread.
The lake where it was filmed is not open to the public, so no-one feeds the ducks and also none of the anglers use bread. It's all boilies and particles. Yet the fish see it and eat it without blinking.
Maybe because it's not a boilie.

I have 10 days video'ing booked in for the week after next. I might do seafood or maybe some more work on rig's. I would like some suggestions and idea's please, as I find these very helpfull.

Eddy...

Re: Carp on bread. Underwater video's

Love the videos Eddy. Has already made me think about how my bait is actually presented to the carp.

I used to think that something was wrong on some waters but really there's nothing wrong. It's just the carp can clearly see your tackle!

Will be watching your videos from now on Eddy, keep up the good work!

Re: Carp on bread. Underwater video's

Eddy, thanks for taking the time to come on the forum and ask for suggestions etc.
I am interested in The Method feeder etc, so a vid of that with a popped up sweetcorn in the middle of it, just to see what goes on etc. Also what effect does catapulting boilies on top of the fish have? Wasnt sure if it spooks them, or they snaffle them on the way down.
What about Zig Rig, though may be difficult to film, as Zig rig is normally used to keep your bait well up in the water.

Re: Carp on bread. Underwater video's

Yeah the Zig Rig would be an interesting one to see if you could do something with the camera to capture that. If you could I would love to see some surface fishing, I usually fish with a hair-rigged dog biscuit in the summer months and I would love to find out if they can see the hook. I tend to get alot of rejections and nosing of the bait and then suddenly one takes the bait fine!?!?

Good one Wes - I love using hair rigged chum mixer in the summer too - one of my favourite ways of fishing - would be good to see underwater video of that too.
