Hold-all vs Quiver

I currently own a 6 rod hold all for pretty much all my fishing including piking, carping and err barbel...ing??!.
I am now tempted to buy a rod quiver mainly due to the fact I can put my shelter inside it thus turning two bits of luggage into one.

I just wonderd what peoples thoughts and preferences are
( In other words help me justify buying one )

Re: Hold-all vs Quiver

I havent used my rod holdall for at least ten years now. I have several quivers for different numbers of rods and to protect the rods in them I also use rod sleeves.

Much lighter simpler and convienient than my old rod holdall, and except for my big Carp quiver which came with its own rod sleeves, much cheaper too.

Nowerdays every time I buy a new rod; I end up buyng a rod sleeve to protect it in as well.
then just clip it to the outside of a quiver which holds everything else I need.

Re: Hold-all vs Quiver

Defiantely a quiver everytime. I bought a Korum 2 rod quiver which will hold 2 made up rods, brolly, net handle, banksticks etc. For £20 you can't go wrong, just have a reshuffle depending on what your fishing for!
