Re: Getting a Korda deal

I know people don't like him but fair play to the bloke he owns a lake in France, got his own tackle line, gets all his fishing, kit, bait for free...would none of you like to fish for a living? Oh and being a millionaire must be hard...lol.

Re: Getting a Korda deal

Lets be honest it's jealousy. he started from nothing and has done really well. No one slates the likes of Kevin Nash who plugged there products in all the mags?

I think at the end of the day he and Korda don't effect you. If you dont want to use the stuff then don't simples.
So weird how people say they don't care and all that but go out of there way to make a video about them?
If I went car shopping and a certain manufacturers salesman plugged a certain car I thought it was no good I wouldn't run home and make videos slagging it off.
At the end of the day I ain't a massive fan of what they do but to a certain extent they do teach the younger generation a bit of fish safety etc...
Although this does tend to be at the cost of watching them advertise a lot of products via the free DVD. again though it's a free DVD :)

Re: Getting a Korda deal

What Danny Fairbrass did was capture the imagination of the Angler who wanted to get the instant success of catching a big fish. But i feel that thing like water craft and learning the basics have been put to one side and he has shown the angler that if you spend all your money on his equipment you will catch that PB of 50lb. I don't dislike the Guy or anything, but i feel that maybe people should take a step back and enjoy their fishing at what ever level they are at and spend some time learning their craft, rather than expecting a 50lb carp every time they go fishing.

spot on steve
He has generated non thinking carp anglers (Chavs)who have no concept about watercraft , who with out knowledge think that his way is the only way.

many components are unnecessary in carp angling ,in other words gimmicks which are hugely over priced .
Plus alot of these are just reinvented ,just given a new name .
There are plenty of other anglers who produce tackle but you never hear any one slating those off,so Is every one jealous of him ?
Ask for Kevin Nash
Firstly you need to read about his history in carp angling .
He was one of the first innovators along with Maddocks , Hutchy .ect who learnt their trade the hard way . spending hundreds of hours fishing very hard venues , then sharing those idea,s thoughts . methods with the masses .
Nash tackle is used by more anglers than any other that is endorsed by well known anglers .HE SELLS THE MOST POPULAR BEDCHAIR BY FAR .)
he also has his own lakes and is also worth a few bob

If you did a poll to find who is the most disliked named angler country wide i think i know who,s name would be top

Nb
It took me nearly 15 yrs to catch a 20lb fish not instant in those days lol

there is a story behind the video
