| Night fishing at Willow Park (Ash Hampshire) Help needed plz. Im doing my first 24 hour carping session at Willow Park in Hampshire this weekend. On there big lake looking for big carp 20lb + with any luck. Like I say its not something I have done before, My normal fishing is float fishing with pellett hair rigged or banded. Had some good fish this summer best 15lb fishing like this. However got myself 2 bait alarms and Im ready to try something new. Are there any tips you can give a first timer and have any of you fished Willow park before? Thanks.. ![]() |

| Re: Night fishing at Willow Park (Ash Hampshire) Before you even cast in mate make sure you are prepared, Not sure how much gear or knowledge you have but heres a few essentials Forceps Unhooking matt head torch warm clothes water proofs decent landing net FLASK (most important lol) Make sure you are fully prepared before dark ie, Bivvy set up and stable designated unhooking area is set up be aware of any hazards which might not be visible at night make sure all your kit is to hand , torch, forceps scales etc. (Im sure other posters can ad to this) Now for the fishing There are many methods, many of which depend on lake size, depth, activity of the fish ect ect. try and get some info on the lake and find out what has been producing. for rigs ,baits, methods ect try searching the old threads as Im sure this subject has been covered many times hope this helps Mad ![]() __________________ Species 2011..
