Multiple rods at the same time

hay guys

so being new to proper carp fishing and gettin closer to my first proper fishing session i wondered how do you guys fish multiple rods ie 3 as i worried about the fishing swiming through the other lines or is it also common to get fish on more than one rod at a time???

i fish 4 mate

never had a problem really ,but if they go under its just a case of lifting one ro and passing the other line under/over ,

you can use a flying back lead to pin your line down ,

if you want it pinned down by the bank you just attach a back lead and let it slide down the line

Re: Multiple rods at the same time

I find I have to bully the fish alot more than I would like in some situ's using multiple rods (to keep them away from the other rod(s) ) which in turn leads to the odd hook pull, oh well!! I usually start with one rod and if things are slow I will then dip 2-3 in, if things pick up on a certain rod I may even pull one of the others out, however the guy with 3-4 rods will obviousley catch more fish lol.

Re: Multiple rods at the same time

i'll use 2 carp rods max, although my pod will take 3 & i have 4 carp rods. i'll try & cast them a minimum of 45 degrees to each other in the hope that i won't suffer crossed lines.
if the going is slow, i'll set up my float rod & go for silvers as well ... something is better than blaanking lol
