Re: Korda Underwater Carp Fishing State Of Art I thought those korum underwater dvds completely took the enjoyment out of angling, they are too serious and, sorry to say it, too technical! I don't see Fairbrass getting his enjoyment out of the sport he has taken up. I know it's his job etc etc but for an average angler they don't teach angling in the correct manner, therefore are not for the novice. For example, I believe fairbrass would unhook and put back a 10lb Bream quickly without even smiling or looking at the fish purely because it's not his intended target. Fairbrass and his co-presenters are exactly the same in every programme I have seen which they have done. This is no post against him at all, he obviously knows his stuff and is an excellent proffessional, just an obversation I have made over time. Tight Lines...

Re: Korda Underwater Carp Fishing State Of Art I remember watching one of the the underwater videos, he lost a good fish and spent 10 minutes sulking like 5 year old. __________________ Born to fish made to work

Re: Korda Underwater Carp Fishing State Of Art The thinking tackle series was on Virgin Discovery Shed recently, and I hadnt seen them before. As a novice carp angler I did learn some hints and tips from the programmes, but I imagine more experienced carp anglers have seen it and done it all before. The presenters did get a bit technical and seemed to concentrate an awful lot on minute details and very subtle changes to rigs that most of us wouldnt bother with, but I suppose that gives them more confidence in their presentation etc, and confidence can play an important part in ones fishing I suppose. I have seen some of the Korda underwater footage, and I did find them interesting, as it was good to see what happened underwater, but I actually prefer the type of underwater footage that catching the impossible showed, as it showed fish feeding and swimming naturally going about their daily business, though it was good watching the 30lb pike swim around the deadbait several times and staring at it before attacking it..
