Fly Fishing For Carp

I was wondering if fly fishing for carp is commonly done?

Whilst watching the Carp surface feeding it occured to me that perhaps, if one could make a fly that looked a bit like a dog biscuit, that fly fishing for the Carp could be good sport on a centrepin reel.

So I've bought an Airflo rod & reel & plan to have a go.

Re: Fly Fishing For Carp

try a dry fly like daddy long legs this will sit on the surface or use a nymph as they come up through the water
