very cheap base mix
250 soya flour

nah not a runs water we were first to target the carp ppl deemed them uncatchable was mainly tench water took kilos of bait and party blend to get em confident still a hard water now with odd fish getting banked every few months 32 lb biggest,,like your crab mix try adding liquidised tuna or squid lol i use monster crab alot still a great attractor also i use fishmeal and somtimes robin red from hinders get it from the net butaryc acid(xcuse spelling) and other amino products ive used that 50 50 mix your first recipe didnt use rice flour though and added bird seed and shell and shrimp paste to good effect

been making baits for 30 yrs mate ,Well used to but now get them rolled as i get them in bulk.

partiblend , i use pigeon conditioner.. cheap as chips

as winter is coming

200grm Acid Casein
200grm Rennet Casein
100grm WPC 80
50grm Soya Isolate
150grm Meggablend Red

50grm Crunchy Kelp meal
20grm Limestone flour
Calavite)

i still make em but to be honest shop baits are getting better main bait for me is the rolling mills crab bio great boilie ,ha 30 years ago i was fishing dyed bread on the surface for carp to stop the gulls taking it and bread paste baits and naturals like mussels and snails ect how times change funny how they r going back to naturals and baits like nuts and corn seems we have done a full circle,,medusa rig bound to make a come back soon lol

The history of the modern phenomenon of boilie making could be said to go back many hundreds of years or thousands of year because high protein baits have been used in fishing for millennia.

im sure izzak walton went down the road of cooked baits first i ever heard was a my mates dad getting kitty kat flour and eggs and making a sort of boilie when we were kids when he caught a carp we were amazed ,another good thing about boilies my missy dont moan when they roll out of the fridge unlike maggots lol

ha tinned boiled potatoes now there is a bait lmao alright if you opend the tin and they were the small ones ,i rem having a 28.5 lb on kidney beans with baked beans as ground bait,most bizzar was when i was fishing with a mate at Salford park in brum i took wrong boilies everyone was catching on strawberry and plum and using this john baker dip so i rushed to off license that was still open and brought a packet of chewits you know the sweets, molded two into balls hair rigged them and chucked in ,,later we were laughing about the bait every 1 taking the p when 1 of my fox sx yep the one with the sweets on went mental hah nice 16 lb mirror i sounded like john wilson landing it lmao,ive had em on pork pie meat all sorts funny that was though
