Help Needed for Linear Fisheries

Hello all just a quick question has any one fished Linear Fisheries before, I'm going to fish St Johns Lake or Manor Farm Lake or Oxlease Lake not sure witch one yet for 48 hours, This Wednesday or Thursday, Not sure what one to fish, Im on a mission to catch my 1st 30lb Carp, I need some help on what one to fish and baits and rigs, Any help would be good

never fished linear myself so again cant really help...i will have a trawl around the net and see what i can find for you
