Maver abyss ledger rod help?

when using a quivertip set the baitrunner quite light, the rod will give a bit on the take if the line is not dead straight, and use the strongest tip if carp fishing.

An easy way to tell which tip is the strongest is to hold all three tips together by the eye ring and let then bend under their own weight, the one that bends the least is the strongest.

sorry no nothing about the reel, but I am sure it will be fine, a match reel is what it says, a simple retrieve winch, just set the drag right and be ware it did not seem to be a freerunner or baitrunner reel as far as i could tell
