Check list for carp fishing !

hi guys ,
as i am bugeted, i need a checklist to catching carpp between 0 - 20 pounds, equipment and key tips , for catching them !
i would much appriciate it if u could help :)

I take it you have the basic tackle
Most important is locating the fish ,
Rods 2lb test curve
a good quality reel
Good line and hook link material
Hooks that match the size of bait that you are using Eg not a size 14 hook with a 18 mm boilie
Keep things simple , Simple rigs catch more fish than complicated ones

Use a good quality bait
Don't over feed
Don't spook the fish

is a shimano dl 10000 ra with fox warrior 2.75 loaded with fox soft steel 15 lb line , no leads yet , would i use just basic lead set upp ? and which is better boiles or groundbait

rod is a bit overpowering for small fish ,

I personally would use a ledger rod as well if i was targeting the smaller fish in your range
15 lb line is a tad heavy as well ,

If the water is snag free and you going for fish under 15 lb , 8/10 lb line is plenty , You are playing the fish , not hauling it in Fish lower than that line to weight ratio

use a running lead
