I saw a guy in the army almost burned alive and his skin peeling off...kinda puts into perspective the horrors of a stupid fish .
Its just a shame the guy holding the fish wasn't a stiff too - now that would have been funny

I can reveal there are more pictures of this casper carp never seen before on the here-fishyfishy.co.uk website the pictures the whole carp world want to see....yes the photo of casper the 42lb ghost carps other side! Its true dont know how to put a link up but its on the carp fishing section under the thread "how sick"

Well I come back from fishing to find a storm in a teacup. What makes me laugh the most is the thought of someone actually persuading Goss to hold a dead stinky fish up, that is class and obviously coming from people that dont know Goss at all. I would pay to see that! The fish is very much alive it is just a ghosty looking mirror hey dont hate the fish it cant help looking like that.!
On a more serious note however it looks like someone has been very busy however trolling and flaming this into a massive viral. Dont worry I will trace the ip and report the offender as the majority of posts below are from the same person using different names. Very naughty, I suggest that if you have something against White Springs you dont start involving anglers in your vendetta as that isnt polite. It has cause grief to some anglers and that is just wrong. For any of you who have given grief to anybody who fishes White Springs shame on you and its time to apologise and eat humble pie.

As for the camera, quite simply it has the wrong date set on it thats all. Vince cant even work a mobile phone never mind get the date right when he changes batterys on his camera. I am suprised that he managed to get it to 1 March 2010, Camera defaults to 1.1.2004 when batterys are out, check some of the other pictures in news reports from the same camera and you will see the dates are 1.1.2004 Doesnt mean we are posting up 6 year old pics though does it lol. Just for the suspicious amongst you that think it was taken 3 January 2010 I will point out that the lake was frozen during that date.

I have managed to get more details about the catch
Fish was caught of the top however it got snagged up badly and had to be landed via the boat, because of this one or two of the scales were damaged in the process. This was unfortunately unavoidable.

However the good news is that it was witnessed ALIVE lol and returned alive, however due to all the comments we will name the fish Casper The Ghost of White Springsfrom now on.
£100 is now on offer to the first person to catch Casper and to photograph the carp alive lol with the correct date showing on the camera. If you use Vinces I suggest you sack it and check the date on the camera first :P
Apologies for the date of catching it has been reported incorrectly the fish apparently was landed about 2 months ago however I have been away for the last 3 months ill and have simply mixed the dates up from the catch reports and gotton the dates wrong, they should have been in the last week end of may, I hope to try and sort out all the various catches into their correct dates as this is not the only one that has been posted in the wrong date, in fact there are several so any futher info on catches and dates would be appreciated, if you ever read Vinces catch reports then you would understand why, I might even scan the report to show you lol. I did not however ever expect such a backlash after trying to sort out

With regards to the one handed comment it is just the way he is holding it I will post up another picture that shows where his hand is. Someone has correctly pointed out his fingers in the origonal picture. As far as the perch comments well I'm not even going to bother apart from Perch arent that big its just the way the photo has been taken. Original is in albums for you to see yourself.

As far as all the bad comments are concerned I am, suprised that so many people have jumped onto a fake vicious rumour so quickly and condemmed a fishery without even checking their facts. I have been aware of this for some hours but havent posted anything as I wanted to trace the origonal person who started all of this. Looks like a lot of you have been caught up in a smear campaign and joined a witch hunt for nothing.
Vince would like to remind you all the last time a rumour like this was started it was him who had apparently died and he was receiving sympathy calls for months. He suggests that you dont always take notice of things that go bump in the night and you shouldnt listen to gossip especially over the internet.

Now Gentlemen, lets not be unkind....Maybe it's their mascot fish...and they had to get it back from the taxidermist for this foto.
I'm confident, the next time you see this poor, dead, blobby thing it'll be a bright shiny new fiberglass reproduction molded from that very trophy fish.
