stupid carp anglers

i am a carp angler myself howerever i was fishing on sunday with me dad for some carp and it was a good day and i had two fish and lost one up to 14 pound and me dad had 3 up to 16 however there was a fellor next to me with all the gear like me and i mean all the gadgets and he had no fish and he couldnt cast it just made me laugh he must have been 30 something but its silly because all of the gear in the world cant catch you a fish.

maybe i hope so because its a shame if he has spend so much on fishing equippment and cant catch

yes nick u most probably fish hard waters which one fish in a session is great and most probaly a big fish however this is not a hard water

Dont think you you can judge someone just by seeing them once across the lake , he could be a pro specimen angler having a bad day lol
But I do know where you are coming from when some people think "If I buy all the expensive kit I am going to catch loads".
having some things does make life easier but its mostly down to knowledge and experience. unless you have a sh*t load of TNT then you will catch loads lol

I know what your saying it is sometime amusing seeing ppl with all the gear and no idea but... If you take up a sport if it be golf or football etc... And you enjoy it and have the money then why not buy top end stuff....
I prob bought gear a bit above my standard when I first started but I knew I would love fishing and always go all be it if I'm good or not :)

So whats wrong with having a chat with the guy.........and seeing if he needs any help?

I have learnt a lot over the years by chatting to other anglers........and hopefully I have passed a few things on.
Some people dont want to admit they need help.......fair enough .
But others will ask a few questions..and its great in my opinion to help them.

As for him having all the gear.......good for him. At least he didnt go out and buy rubbish.

So perhaps instead of laughing at someone go and see if you can help them.

So who is the Stupid carp angler you refer to................him or you ??
