| Re: Abu Cardinal 33 Reel. I have an Abu Cardinal 55 which I used to use back in the 80's for fishing for large fish (Carp and Pike etc.). We tended to use Abu Cardinal 44's for fish like Barbel & large Chub or large Bream and large Tench. I don't remember the Abu Cardinal 33, but I'm guessing that the Abu Cardinal 33 would probably be a reel for light feeder work or for fishing the straight leger for smaller to average sized Bream, Chub, Tench etc. or for light spinning. I dont remember anyone using one for the waggler or stick etc. so I don't think they were float fishing reels although I suspect you could use them for the float at a push; but I would guess it would be a light general purpose feeder type reel. __________________ My Web Site (The Average Coarse Angler) Happiness is Fish Shaped (It used to be woman shaped but the wifes getting on a bit now) |
