Re: any advice for new carp rods

sorry for being ignorant.. what makes those rods £50 per rod better than the chub outkasts?...

the chubs also come with an unconditional lifetime guarantee.. my honest opinion is that extra 50 per rod could be spent on something worthwhile

Re: any advice for new carp rods

Nice rods though from what I have heard about them. I take it you did research before buying them? What made you choose these over say top end daiwa Rods like the infinity magnums or freespirit rods? Just wondering as I find rod choice quite hard with out being able to really use them! At least with reels you have a bit of a play etc...
I have just managed to get a mint set of ESP terry hearn rods (not got round to using them yet)
but I have always had getting a set of the harrisons Rods in the future when I am a bit more
compitant!
