| fishing the thames Hi guys I often drive past parts of the thames and see spots i think look carpy Any advice for river fishing for them? whens best and how do i find out what stretches i can fish? many thanks |

| Re: fishing the thames Fished the river a few times on holiday one year had no carp, just a few nice bream, although i heard stories of good carp. I was told of a 30lb+ fish being caught in Reading. That's all i can help you on sorry! When I lived i the south east I heard more about the carp, there were reports of big fishing being seen in the slack water behind bridge supports, esp around richmond area. I saw a twenty being weighed in during a match at an area known as athe barge walk. But that was a few years ago. __________________ Ignore the margins at your peril |
