Re: To dip or not to dip i have used dips in the past,i'm not convinced about their effectiveness, surely the jallop that is on the boilie will wash off the moment it hits the water, or does it ?

Re: To dip or not to dip I tend to dip my baits but I have about 30 hookbaits that are being glugged at all times and I has them when I fancy it. But just dipping for a minute and casting out I don't tend to bother to be honest. As I don't think it will have taken enough of the juices on to make a differance once on the bottom.

Re: To dip or not to dip I do not find it a great bonus but if you are going to dip them make sure you keep them in the dip for a couple of hours because if you only dip it in for one minute I can garentee you that the second the bait hits the water all of the juices will come off

Re: To dip or not to dip Just a quick questiOn, not entirely related. Do you change your boilie every cast? I have some boiles soaking in glug/flavours which I will use as bait, and other non dipped boiles crushed for groundbait. I am new to boilie fishing, so wasnt sure if you changed boilie every cast, or just gave it another quick dip in the glug? Thanks
