| Re: looking for a decent day ticket venue carp. shearwater longleats are good carp waters. you could also join warminster club crockerton holds very nice carp to over 20lb and berckleys great for 100lb+ bags of carp. have a look at www.gethooked.co.uk list loads of venues and info for the southwest. |

| Re: looking for a decent day ticket venue carp. Im new to the wilts area and looking to fish shearwater what baits tactics etc are best also how big do the tench get to? As for the warminster club waters what size do the carp and tench get to best baits and does it get busy at shearwater and the warminster lakes. What is Lafarge like? | Re: looking for a decent day ticket venue carp. Shearwater gets very busy. Carp to 26lb avarge is 10lb-15lb boilies over pellets work well mixers of the top on hot days good lake for a few carp. Tench and bream to 8lb not very meany tench tho. Crockerton has carp to 24lb avarage 10lb-17lb harder water quite and not to busy tench and bream to 8lb avarage is 3lb its a mixed fishery. Club also has a strech of river and another lake stacked solid with wild carp. Have a search on here for catch reports there is plenty on local lakes by me and other members. |

| Re: looking for a decent day ticket venue carp. thanks for the swift reply. so would you reccomend the warminster club lakes over the others in the area? I will generally be fishing mid week and like quiet waters so might just get the club ticket. Is crockerton the best tench water then? |
