Steve Burt is on a distinguished road
Re: looking for a decent day ticket venue carp.

fished shearwater from road side as the other bank was crammed solid. Caught 1 carp at 8lb and 6 bream to 4lb.
My mate only caught 1 carp at 6lb and 1 bream fishing tutti frutti boilies and halibut pellet. Both carp had badly deformed mouths. Watching others I only saw 2 or 3 other carp caught. Overall I didnt much like the lake mainly due to the deformed mouths as this is a pet hate as its very easy to remove hooks without causing so much damage, most of the other anglers just seemed out for a party so not really my type of venue. I prefer more quite waters with fish in good condition. Will go and visit the warminster club lakes for a look around sometime next week and will be fishing todber lakes on yues. Hope others more rod bending action.
