Rod pod advise

Hi guys I'm more if a bankstick kinda guy but the lake I have recently been fishing I need a rod pod for most of the swims.
Any advice as to which ones? I'm not to concerned about the looks.

Rather want one that is stable and packs away quick/easy and isn't to big.
Again don't want to spend loads but want a good quality one that will last. Cheers guys

Re: Rod pod advise

To be honest i dont really pay to much attension to rod pods. But i have a fox Something, got given it. HaHa

But he said he had used it for a good no. of years then he gave it to me well i have used it for a few years. I would recommend fox rod pods. Try looking on ebay or online tackle shops.

I have been browsing some online shops there are good quality deals on some gear. E.g Rods, Reels, Bivvies ect. I'm sure if you looked and browsed enough you could get one mega cheap and good value.

Good luck

Cheers Jake

Re: Rod pod advise

i have the fox a pod....nothing wrong with it.. but it would be more helpful if the legs extended..... i now carry a bucket around with me to prop up the back end if the water is low down

Re: Rod pod advise

Fox seems to be popular. I was thinking of maybe getting new banksticks (matrix ones) and you can get extra diagonal bars that can make it a pod and break down into individual bankstick think the lot is about 160 and I just know I'll lose some lol so prob go for a fox one from what you guys have said :)

Cheers guys

Re: Rod pod advise

Prologic lux pod takes 3 rods and comes with its own buzbar bag for £50 rrp.

Its like the fox stalker but better as has more adjustment and alot cheaper. Its very solid stable fast to put up and take apart can even keep you alarms fitted to the buz bar and will still fit in the bag.
