thinking tackle is coming onto discovery for people who dont have sky sports

Team Korda’s supremely popular carp fishing series has been signed up by Discovery for the next 10 YEARS! Team Korda are proud to announce that they’ll be joining the likes of John Wilson and Matt Hayes on the leisure and lifestyle station with a contract showing all our shows for the next DECADE…wowzers!
Thinking Tackle will continue its close relationship with Sky Sports, with every new series initially being televised on the Sky Sports range of channels. However, after a year of broadcasting on these stations it will be passed to Discovery so that all those viewers without Sky Sports can enjoy the epic Thinking Tackle shows.
Thinking Tackle enters its 5th season this Spring, therefore the first 4 seasons will begin being broadcast on Discovery Shed from MARCH 12th & 14th at 9pm. All 25 previous shows will then be televised on continuous Fridays and Sundays for the next 25 weeks. Series 5 will then hit your Discovery screens in 2011.
Presented by Danny Fairbrass, the show includes some of the best carp angling guests - Gareth Fareham, Ali Hamidi, Damian Clarke, James Armstrong, Adam Penning, Tom Dove, Nick Helleur, Darrell Peck, Simon Scott and many more. The shows are packed with action, tips and more carp fishing advice than you could ever imagine. It truly is the only dedicated carp fishing series on the box.
Loved by anglers of all abilities, the shows are stuffed with huge carp from across Europe. You can’t fail to learn from this series. A must watch for angling fanatics. Put your feet up and enjoy it...

Cool Re: thinking tackle is coming onto discovery for people who dont have sky sports

Its a shame that Discovery Shed wont produce any new shows by presenters like John Wilson and Matt Hayes and shows like day ticket etc. Great that thinking tackle is going to Discovery Shed but were are the other shows that they could produce

Re: thinking tackle is coming onto discovery for people who dont have sky sports

A few good films I would love to see on Discovery Shed (or even the BBC who seem to be against showing good programs these days).

It would be nice to see Hugh Miles film "Catching the Impossible" with Martin Bowler & Bernard Cribbins, that would be great viewing.
Film Clips & Photos -->Film Clips & Photos

Or the timeless film Chris Yates and Bob James "A Passion for Angling".

Or Chris Yates "Caught in Time".

Re: thinking tackle is coming onto discovery for people who dont have sky sports

matt hayes said on a interview that there isnt the money that there used to be in the television market but he did say that hes got some ideas in the pipe line with mick brown and john wilison not that fond of him a little annoying but it would be good to see new shows. A good website i am subscribed to is fishing online tv and there all new and the likes of day ticket is on it for only 4.95 a mouth

Re: thinking tackle is coming onto discovery for people who dont have sky sports

No!! mate ,
have never used it and never will , would rather put acid in my eyes.

reinventing rigs that were out 20 odd yrs ago and saying they developed them,
taking the thinking part of angling away , everything has to come out of a packet with instructions ,
Bad methods /techniquesshown on there dvd,s ,i could go on ,
plus having met him i think he is a ****
