The right day of the week?

Anyone have strong views on the impact of fishing smallish ponds straight after the weekend, when the world and his dog have been there dumping in feed?
I have next week off and Monday looks a good day to go out, but I wonder if I'd be better going later in the week?

I've always been of the opion that weds/thurs is a wise day to go, as the fish shuld have eaten the freebees from the weekend and developed an appetite for more.
However if your bait is right and presentation good, no reason why should not get one of the fish earlier in the week.

Fridays always been good for me, but if its been crappy weather over a weekend then monday's can be great.

i find any day other than a weekend for the ponds, as they are always just to busy then

Im Planning On Fishing Monday And Tuesday Next Week As Sundays Meant To Be Very Wet, And I Doubt Many If Anyone Will Be Fishing Sunday As Theres Meant To Be A Gd Chance To Snow Aswell.

There was a match today on the pond I was thinking of visting. Every peg taken!

Maybe I'll leave it till Wednesday/Thursday!

I often fish Mondays and I will speak to the ballif and find out what the action was like over the weekend. Ie how Many anglers/fish caught.
And 9 times out if 10 there has been loads of anglers pilling the bait in.

So I tend to fish single baits at showing fish.
Find it quite succesfull.
