Carp fishing around Royston Hertfordshire?

Hi all,

I am looking for venues to fish this spring around Royston Hertfordshire. If you have any suggestions i would be grateful.

I am looking for venues that have a good chance of fish of 20lb+. I will mostly be stalking, floater fishing etc.

I work in a village called Melbourn and have noticed a few lakes by the A10 but have no idea if they are fishing lakes! Any ideas? I will have a look at some point myself though.
