new lake

Was up with the birds to go and have a look at a new lake ,
42 acres of bliss,
Carp up to mid 40,s , not overfished .lots of features , gravel bars ,weed beds ,reeds . the wild life was unreal .
It also has specimen , Tench , eels in it
seemed like heaven , very few swims , and little angling pressure
Only draw back is i can only fish it between march and sept.

Wont be long till march nick, sounds beautiful mate. Just the thought of a 40lb fish on rod and line has my heart racing. What sort of fight does a carp give nick, i would guess solid power nice bend in the rod etc. Chow.

depends mate ,
I have had big carp come in like a wet sack , but have them also fight for 20 min plus ,
There is no better sight than a big fish sliding over the cord of a landing net

Whats the stock level like? Can anyone fish it?

there's 4 fish over 40 , about 10 over 25 and about 40 over 18lb ,
Its on a guest ticket mate
