| first time at tirley catch report! i went to tirley on thursday for the first time and it was a good day. we arrived at about half 7 and there was three people already there. after a quick walk around me and gav decided to set up on the far side bank where no other anglers were. i put the left hand rod under some willows by the left hand island with white boilies and a pva bag of pellets and the right hand rod casted to showing fish with a solid pva bag and a little yellow pop up. i took the car back round and when i returned gav had a common sat on the mat "you jammy git" i joked and when we weighed it it was 17lb 8oz so a very promising start. this would of been his new pb a week earlier but the week before gav had a 18lb 4oz common from tirley which is now his pb! http://photos-f.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos..._2556408_n.jpg any way after a couple of quite hours i decided to go to the car and get some hemp. when i went round to the car i spoke to an angler fishing by the car park and although he hadent caught anything yet he was very helpful and recommended maize. so when i got back the left hand rod was reeled in and maize was put on the hair with a new bag mix of hemp, maize and grounbait. about half an hour later the left hand rod finally went off but it shortly fell off. gutted!! with a recast another run soon occured and this time it stayed on! result! 13lb 4oz http://photos-g.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos..._7755309_n.jpg after this 2 more fish came to this rod the biggest being the 13lber and later on in the day i had one on the right hand rod! so overall 4 carp and quite a good day for the weather as it was p***ing down all day and seriously strong wind as you can tell from my hair!!! lol  .heres the other fish http://photos-h.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos..._5738758_n.jpg http://photos-b.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos..._3751086_n.jpg __________________ ><((((*> fish to live, live to fish!! ><((((*> please join my facebook page http://www.facebook.com/pages/Burley...5223465?ref=ts     |

| Re: first time at tirley! 2 hrs after Jonny Wilkinson scored that winning kick i was night fishing and had a 27lb from the drainage pipe was doing a 24hr session when it was alright to night fish.
