I'm targeting Carp this year & i'm considering trying the Method Feeder.

Is it really as good as i've heard?

Re: Method feeder best for carp?

on a well stocked lake you cant beat a large method feeder, with the hook bait tucked inside!! you have a pile of feed right ontop of your bait,i use vitalin dog food as my method mix with sweetcorn and a tin of tuna, and a small 10mm boilie as a hook bait, cheap as chips!! but remember to sit on your hands as you hear little beeps as the carp attack the method ball and wait for the one toner before you hit it!!! good luck.

Deepends on stock level size of lake and angaling pressure.

2 lake i fish it dont work on. But another lake i fish it works great on. Try it. Make sure you hit the same spot every time and keep casting in regulary.
