| Where to fish Hi guys, Im off for my graduation in Bolton next week and am planning on a weekend of fishing while im there (something which i didn't do while at uni) I was wondering if any one could recommend somewhere to go, any where in the Bolton area or south towards the midlands,but to the west rather than the east! We are looking for a good lake with decent facilities and carp up to at least 30lb! I want to try and avoid the smaller lakes but have had no luck in finding anything! I found Wyreside Fisheries (http://www.wyresidefishery.co.uk/index.html) which is perfect, however its a bit too far north as we are travelling back down to Southampton so don't really want to add more miles to the already long journey! Any suggestions are welcome! Thnaks for your help     |

| Re: Where to fish Yeah I did look at the Monument when i was looking originally, I was worried that its a pressured water and we will struggle to catch although its full of 20's and 30's so im sure when you do catch it will be worth it, however they onli sell 36hr tickets nd we wudnt prob stay for 36hrs saying that it is onli 30quid! do you know any one that has fished it? Im sure some celeb angler fished it and featured it in Total Carp |
