good days out carp fishing !

went out last sunday with a friend of mine fishing at broadheath pools in worcestershire. my mate is a match angler and fishes in comps most weeks but this sunday he had a day off from a match so asked if i wanted to go fishing for some carp at our local pool.

as he has the place alot of times so he knows the pools very well so off we went.

we where method feeding and he picked a spot facing the ireland on the pool with the wind facing us. now this is harder to cast into the wind but he said the fish will be using the back of the ireland to stay out the wind.

anyway on the second cast a fish was on and in 4 hours fishing we had over 140 pound of carp. average around 6 to 7 pound which was very good. and a lot of 3 to 4 pound carp. biggest of the day was around 12 pound.

had a cracking day but forgot the camera

anyway we went tuesday to around 3 in the afternoon for 5 hours on the same peg and well the bites where abit slower the bag at the end was still very good. this time i remembered the camera so here are some pics

was very good thanks mate. im looking forward to learning more about this method feeding. its a good way to get a shed load of fish and a good way to get big bags of bream to.

yes mate just the one rod. i went yesterday as i had a day off work. me had to fish on a different pool as there was a match on the pool we fish.

never tryed the method on this other pool so just gave it a shot.

had two rods out this time i had 60 pound of carp and bream. and my mate had 100 pound of carp bream and some silverfish with pellet waggler. roach,and rudd
