Re: dont wanna hurt the fish I made my own boiles once, to be honest, its so much easier to buy them. However Mithrandier did a post last year or may have been the year before about making them, as for citrus not certain. __________________ Born to fish made to work

Re: dont wanna hurt the fish I made some paste baits last year, if I had boiled them they would be boilies, I feel boiling robs some flavour from baits. I used berries, as a flavour, blitzed them then added them to a paste base mix, which I found on this very forum, I think it was in the carp section, and was way cheaper than a base mix I saw in shops.

Re: dont wanna hurt the fish I'm not sure about Orange or Lemon flavours but Pineapple is a great additive and has been catching me and my friends carp since the mid 70s and the Carp love it. It is a well known boilie flavour. other fruit flavours we used successfully were Plum, Strawberry, Rasberry and Banana. __________________ My Web Site (The Average Coarse Angler) Happiness is Fish Shaped (It used to be woman shaped but the wifes getting on a bit now)
