| caught my first grass carp on a pole. Went to ivy lake today in wiltshire, and fished the old canal, caught a 6 lb mirror within ten mins. didnt even finish setting up the pole. Then ten mins before we finished for the day, i caught my first fish using a pole and it was a 7 lb grass carp. man it feels weird bringing a fish in on them, but loved it, took about ten mins or so letting it wear itself down. Was well impressed. Only shame is my dam phone is broke so no pics. Great day.     |
