| Never thought id say it. Went to a lake today that i fish regularly and i couldnt believe the amount of small fish in there. Its a small lake close to my home thats known for carp in the 10 to 18lb range. It was near impossible to fish with a float and bread on the surface was totally out of the question. I dont know where all these 2inch fish have appeared from but they were demolishing the bait on the drop and even picking at it when on the bottom. I was constantly reeling in an empty hook and it totally ruined my fishing. Apparently the lake was netted earlier this year!!!! Rudd and Roach were the main culprits but i cant remember seeing so many there before. A guy a few pegs from me was fishing the method and he was getting extremely pi**ed off with the tiddlers attacking his bait ball too. I was so cheesed off i packed up and went home. Anyone else suffered with this? __________________ PB now 15lb 9oz. Going up!! |
