Re: Tirley Court Carp Fishing Gloucestershire

Went to Tirley yesterday to try out the new kit. Got there about 7.30 the place was busy so opted for the car park swim again (not to much arm twisting can fish out the boot of car). Decided to try the method so after setting up lobbed out the method about halfway out. Twenty minutes later into a nice 15lb mirror, had a few more (about7) fish all about 10lb. It started getting very hot with a very strong wind that was strong enough to move my big beany unhooking mat. About 12ish I had a screaming run that was taking line at a good speed, once I managed to steer it away from the snags by the island it came straight to the net 17.4 common in lovely condition it was very long. Recasted and just about to sit down it was off again another common at 15.8lb, had another couple of smaller fish. Had to pack up at 2ish due to work. Hopefully will go again next tuesday.

Re: Tirley Court Carp Fishing Gloucestershire

Hi managed to get out for a morning session yesterday so staight off to tirley. Got there about 7 and had the lake to myself until about 10ish . The weather was quite nice with a bit of sun and a breeze. Fished the car park swim again fishing out to the island. Had a few small carp (8lb ish) but was noticeing i was getting a lot of line bites, so i started casting closer in and started catching better fish till i was only 15ft from the bank. The heavens decided to open and it rained hard so decided to call it a day packed up about 2, with 17 fish between 6-17.6lb so a nice day. Not going back for a couple of weeks due to work, but i am still keeping the 10th-12th free for my trip to Pavyotts mill can't wait.
