Thumbs up Re: Tirley court Gloucester Carp fishing

HI all, Arrived at the lake at 7.30 (not bad as only finished work at 5). There was a light DRIZZLE sat in van for half hour waiting for Richard, no show thought his elastic band had slipped on his micra. So decided to fish car park pegs again, the fish were everywhere over the lake crashing and showing there backs so was very excited. Had two commons straight away, 15.6, 16.3.but then it went dead the fish where still on top, so i changed tactics and went for three artifical sweetcorn on a zig, THAT WORKED to my surpise. Tirley fish dont like things too technical. I had another 8 fish all around the 15lb mark, stayed until about 4ish. so not a bad day at all. (My wife rang me at 12 to say I had some messages from Richard saying it was raining and he would not be coming). THERE ARE ANGLERS & THEN THERE ARE DANGLERS??
Im looking forward to next Tuesday.
