I love the crucian carp, can be a nightmare to catch at times coz they feed on there heads, but thats half the challenge.
Nothing better than watching a old peacock quill float with bread flake as bait. Mmmmm Heaven.

common carp have got to be the best carp. well, they look the best.
i would also rate koi carp above mirror carp (probably because i have caught an 18lb orange koi though)

i caught it from onehouse fishing lake. (also called lakeside fishing lake)
it is its biggest koi, but it also has a 58lb catfish (2nd biggest in england i think)
