Re: Fishing For Carp Tirley Court

Cheers for your quick response. Yes Id just found Bankside and given them a call.

Yes some company would be good so if you are up for it we can arrange a meet and fish.

Thursday mornings are going to be best for me. How does that suit you?

Kind regards
Nick

Re: Fishing For Carp Tirley Court

I am going Thursday depending on the weather. Once the spring arrives proper I will be regular on a Thursday and would love to meet you and pick your brains. Any sort of head start that I can get on a new water is obviously good news for me!

So hopefully we can get together March/April time.

Kind regards
Nick

PS You will know Im there because I have a driving school sign on top of my car!!

Thumbs up Re: Fishing For Carp Tirley Court

Hi, Im Chris a Taxi driver from Cheltenham, I work nights which means i get the days free for fishing (when the wife has not got me decorating). So yesterday decided to try Tirley Court. Not fished it for about 3 years i was surprised to see a few changes (Don not too keen to put his hand in his pocket). Alot of the snaggy trees have been removed and cut back and pegs built up. It was a bit chilly in morning but as soon as the sun came on the lake everybody got a few nocks. It was not until about 11ish that the fish started coming out all about the 10lb mark everybody caught i had a 17.3lb common and a 13.lb mirror and a few about 8lb ish. All in all a very plesent day. Well Recommended

Hi just got back from tirley. Where do I start? It was very quiet to start off with until the sun broke through the cloud. Then I started catching not many but quality was good 18.1lb 16.8lb 10lb 18lb 17lb 18.4lb 5lb. Three 18lbers I was well chuffed. All fell to halibut pellet topped of with fake corn, next to the island from car park swim. Went dead when rain started with a cold wind picked up. Im off again next Tuesday to give it another go.
