tiger nuts in winter?

What would u think my odds on getting a take on tigers fished over hemp this time of the year considering the drop in tempreture?

To be onest its a good idea because you want the carp grubbing around on the small baits rather than getting full up on the big ones

i am planning on going to harties next week,id like to know what is

"tigers fished over hemp ".

any suggestions for winter fishing bait would be appreciated

I believe the Tiger nut is grown in Spain. The nut is taken from the root of the plant and is quite chewy! Carp love them! See here:

Hi how do you get hold of tiger nuts and do you need a carp rig or can you out them on a regular hook and what size would you reccomend? thanks could anyone help
