Re: Earthworms. A great carp bait in fact a great everything bait, truley the Universal all rounder ! There's not much that swims that wont take a worm ! For carp, I float fish them close in under overhanging tree branches or cover. Took them to over 20lbs doing this and I've been doing it a long time. Just a Mk 4, Mitch. 300 or centre pin. Brilliant ! Ripple.

Re: Earthworms. work best after a heavy rainfall when they are flushed into the water, a lot of them get washed in, so carp/fish are looking for them. __________________ good luck and tight lines chris lifes to short for animosity.

Re: Earthworms. Worms are, from a fish's perspective, the perfect food. They have no natural defenses and there are no hard parts to the body so they are more easily digested. They're pretty much straight protein. __________________ 2012 species: 13 All-time species: 65 New species caught in 2012: white sucker, popeye shiner, white shiner

Re: Earthworms. great bait i like to get worms cram them in a jar with cotton wool seal let em rot down ,,put the cotton wool bit at a time in a feeder a big lob on the end perfect for eels and it mings like mad so if your tickled stomached hold your breath got that tip from years of holidaying in Norfolk lol also liquidized in a paste or boilie mix it puts all the amino acids and protein and scent in a bait without having to add artificial synthetic rubbish ,thats the way im going with baits now fresh and frozen ingredients no chemicals...
