4lb 7oz Eel, bloody hell. I am not a huge eel fan but I would be proud of that one. Nicely done !

Re: anyone else tried peperami

Hi guys, I'm just returning to carp fishing after a six year lay off but this thread caught my eye so I'd thought I'd add my thoughts.

I've never used pepperami during the summer months so cant comment on its effectiveness but have caught up to 3 carp in a sesh on it from the same swim in the depths of icey january. I seem to remember using it with small bags of CC Moores spicey pellets in amongst lilley pads.
My biggest winter fish was a 17lb common that fell to the spicey meat.

Re: anyone else tried peperami

Packed Pepperami works out pretty expensive. Find a Deli selling Polish scran and buy Cabanas. Better value bigger "sausage" and works great !
Trouble is I like it as well and I soon "run out of bait" !
Spanish Chorizo's a good bet also !

Ripple.
