Boilie and bait dips

Hi
Does anybody have any good recipes for making home-made bait dips.
I have tried but cannot seem to get them thick enough to stay on the bait, I have tried things like Maple and golden syrup.

Any ideas would be most appreciated

Marmite has worked for me in the past, aswell as peanut butter, you can also try things like soya source, brandy flavouring, hemp oil, try some off the sources they sell in the supermarkets. Mollases is very good.
