Preparing seeds

Ive just finished soaking and boiling a mix of wheat , sunflower seeds and various other bird seed for my stick mix.
I now plan on drying them out to make them pva friendly but will this defeat the object of boiling them ??
I know soaking them will make them swell so they dont swell in the carp's stomach but when dried will they then re swell when wet again ?? I was thinking of oiling them once dry also.
cheers
Mad

Re: Preparing seeds

why have you boiled them ?? just soak in boiling water then put some in a cheap ground bait/ground pelles to dry them out ,them add oil to make them pva friendly

mattuk is on a distinguished road
Re: Preparing seeds

put a enough in a tub for your bags and add salt, mix together and it wont break your PVA down.

Ben doing it for years, a friend told me Korda did it in one of there vids recently too, just be careful you don't over dose on the salt.
I've been told boiling in brine also works never tried it though
