Re: Mussels on hair rig?

You band around the whole mussel. I use them a lot and hair rig them. Go in through the back and out through the foot or your hair stop could pull through the meat. Be prepared to keep checking your bait though. They don't stand up to a lot of attention from small fish! Large cockles and prawns are a good bait too. Make sure they are fresh though!
