Hi guys i have tried many things in my pve sticks but have not yet found wat sizes are what bait to put in any help would be brilliant thankyou

Most sticks are made up of particles , crushed boilies
uuse lots of oil in you mix as it stops the pva from melting before it hits the water ,
You normally use a nr dry mix so it plunges tight

same as what nick says but Ive also been experimenting with bird seeds boilied and soaked then dried and oiled.

i dont know whether i have been doing these bags correct or not i bought from a tackle shop in bolton a mixed bag of halibut pellets with different bits also included in the mix. i was on the speciman lake near my house and wasnt catching fuck all so i went on the match lake instead ( now theres an argument goin on at the minute about fishing on the speciman lake because of a guy that lives behind it so what ever they catch out of that lake they are putting in the match lake ) anyway i made a pva bag up with this mix and inside i put my hookbait which was 2 6mm crab pellets and cast out about 20 mins later my reel was screaming away with itsself, after about 30 secs of battling the little fucker broke my line ( gutted ). is this a decent way of filling a pva bag as it seemed to work but i never see them done like that on tv..

You can put allsorts in mate, pellets, crushed boilies, seeds, glug , groundbait. Just make sure you squeeze as much air out as you can to stop it from floating, a good way to do this is pierce the bottom corner, squeeze the air out then moisten the corner to re-seal it. to present it you can either put you whole rig in the bag along with the goodies or just nick the knot with your hook and away you go.
