Re: Particles/Pulses soaked for bit longer than planned.

thats great thanks nick.. i am going to soak them for a couple days.. if im not happy that its split then i will boil it up for a couple hours

still looking for a cheap burco boiler if anyone knows of one going spare ..

as for the boilies....

yes i have read a bit about air drying them too and its something i am looking at trying.. especially for france...at home though i rarely use more than 2kg in a session so dont need to have it available..

the idea is i can roll 20kg of boilies for alot less money than i can buy them and so it saves me more money for my trip to france..

i have a local guy who does well with selling a bait he makes who is helping me with ingredients and ideas and im gonna go for it

The initial set up is rather expensive ,,tables , guns , flavours ,colours etc , one you have these it is rather cheap ,

i only pay 5.00£ per kilo so i go the easy root nowadays and get some one to make them for me to my menu

Re: Particles/Pulses soaked for bit longer than planned.

yes i agree.. finding someone that will do it for £5 per kilo isnt that easy though....

just to keep the thread on track too...

i have soaked the particles in boiling water in a coolbox as i would for hemp.....the seed took on alot of water last night and so i added another 3 or 4 kettle fulls of boiling water this morning the seed is already mushy and slimy so i dont think it will need boiling being as im leaving it in the warm/hot water until monday!!

we have a group of us who buy bulk amounts , thats why we get it so much cheaper ,,

the biggest problem with buying bulk if you dont live nr the supplier is postage costs ,
Add some salt to your particles Dave
